About the Speaker
Sam Berkowitz has served for 18 years with adhesive and sealant formulators, 17 years with raw-material suppliers and seven years as a consultant to the industry. He attended his first ASC meeting in 1963, served on the original Board of Governors and on the Board of Directors. His accomplishments include starting an adhesive business for a major company that was later sold but still operates profitably after more than 30 years. He commercialized several unique bonding systems that are still sold profitably. He has worked on both sides of several acquisitions, and has facilitated the exchange of technologies between Europe and the United States for a major global company. He has been studying the relationship between leadership and generations for more than 10 years, and has given talks at several trade meetings including the ASC convention.
